Chapter 15 - Seat 2AZara walked down the wide, carpeted aisle of First Class.

She reached row two, set her burgundy bag in the footwell, and took her seat beside the large oval window of 2A.

The leather was soft, warm, and familiar. Outside, the rain streaked softly down the glass as ground crews prepared the aircraft for its transatlantic crossing.

In Seat 2B sat a young female university student traveling solo for her first international internship, looking around the cabin with quiet, wide-eyed nervous energy.

The girl looked over at Zara, noticing her simple clothes and her quiet composure.

“Excuse me,” the girl whispered nervously, holding her boarding pass. “Is... is this First Class? I was upgraded at the gate and I’m a little confused about where my seat is.”

Zara looked over at her, offering a warm, reassuring smile.

She reached out gently and looked at the girl’s pass. “You’re in 2B right next to me. You’re in the right place.”

The girl exhaled a long breath of relief, sitting back into the plush leather seat. “Thank you. I was worried someone was going to tell me I didn't belong here.”

Zara looked out at the runway floodlights reflecting off the wet tarmac, then turned back to the girl with absolute warmth in her eyes.

“You belong wherever your journey takes you,” Zara said softly.

The main cabin door closed with a firm, solid click. The GE90 engines spooled up into a deep, steady roar, carrying Flight 212 smoothly down the runway and up into the star-lit sky over the Atlantic.
