Wire transfers.
Related-party concealment.
Obstruction.
Possible conspiracy.
Evelyn’s attorneys wanted one global plea.
Prosecutors were not ready.
She rejected an early offer.
She claimed:
I assaulted Chloe only after Chloe became physically aggressive.
The video showed me reaching past her for a phone.
She slapped me.
Not self-defense.
She claimed:
The door was locked to give me privacy.
My audio showed me begging to be released.
She claimed:
The antihistamine was recommended by someone for infant reflux.
No pediatrician supported that.

Leo’s fever was monitored.
The thermometer logs contradicted her.
She claimed:
Foundation vendors performed services.
Some did.
The issue was undisclosed self-benefit and false invoices.
Her defense would not collapse entirely because parts of the world were messy.

Meanwhile, Adam’s diversion agreement for punching Evelyn was approved.
He attended anger-management sessions.
Paid her uncovered urgent-care expenses.
No contact.
He hated writing the check.
He wrote it.

I laughed for the first time in weeks.

He laughed too.
Normal marriage conflict felt luxurious.

Leo’s six-month follow-up showed normal growth and development.
No neurologic deficit identified.
Kidneys appeared normal on follow-up imaging.
