Chapter 17 - A Legacy PreservedWhen the triplets turned eight, Graham Bell passed away peacefully in his sleep at Harbor House, sitting in his favorite armchair facing the harbor.

The loss hit the family deeply, but Graham had spent his final years ensuring that every detail of the Ellison-Bell legacy was secure. In his will, he left his remaining shares of the maritime company to Clara in trust for the triplets, while bequeathing Harbor House to his daughter Grace to remain a permanent haven for weary travelers.
On a warm summer afternoon following the memorial service, Clara took the triplets to Graham’s private study at the inn.
The children gathered around the heavy mahogany desk, their curious eyes tracing the brass ship models and leather-bound ocean logs.
"Is this where Great-Grandpa Graham worked with Grandpa Julian?" eight-year-old Leo asked, resting his hands on the polished edge of the desk.
"It is," Clara smiled, sitting in the swivel chair and pulling her three children close. "Your grandfathers built Ellison-Bell Shipping with hard work, honesty, and respect for every person who worked on their docks. That is the heritage you carry."

"Not the Whitmore name?" little Grace asked softly, her wide brown eyes looking into her mother's.
Clara kissed her daughter's forehead gently. "Names are just words written on paper, sweetie. Character is what you build with your own hands. You three are Ellisons—and nothing will ever change that."
