Chapter 15 - The Sky Belongs to EveryoneEliza walked down the carpeted aisle of First Class and reached row one.

She set her canvas backpack under the seat and settled smoothly into the soft leather cushion of 1A. Outside, rain streaked down the thick glass pane as ground crews prepared the aircraft for its transatlantic crossing.

In seat 1B sat a young girl—around ten years old—traveling solo for the first time, clutching a worn teddy bear and looking around the wide cabin with wide-eyed, nervous energy.

The young girl looked over at Eliza, noticing her calm posture and her simple navy cardigan.

"Excuse me," the girl whispered nervously. "Is... is First Class scary? The lady at the gate said I was upgraded, but I'm worried I don't belong here."

Eliza looked across the aisle at her, offering a warm, reassuring smile.

"You don't need to be scared," Eliza said gently, reaching out her hand. "You earned your place on this plane just by being here."

The girl exhaled a long breath of relief, settling back into her seat. "Thank you."

Eliza looked out the window as the giant GE90 engines spooled up into a deep, steady roar. The Boeing 777 accelerated down the runway, lifting smoothly off the concrete and banking gracefully into the clouds over the Atlantic Ocean.

Sitting comfortably in seat 1A, Eliza Monroe pulled out her book of sheet music, knowing that no matter where her journey took her, she would always fly with her head held high.
