Chapter 15 - The UnveilingOne year after the night of my twenty-eighth birthday party, three hundred guests gathered at the former site of the Cole Estate.

The grand, oppressive mansion was gone. In its place stood a breathtaking modern facility made of warm timber, glass, and stone, surrounded by lush green gardens and open courtyards.

A large bronze plaque near the main entrance read:

THE MORETTI SANCTUARY

Dedicated to the strength of those who endure, and the power of those who protect.

National news outlets, city leaders, and charity representatives filled the courtyard as I stepped up to the podium, dressed in an elegant burgundy gown. Behind me stood my five brothers—Dominic, Matteo, Luca, Gabriel, and Nico—standing as an unbreakable shield.

I looked out at the crowd, seeing women who had survived abuse, lawyers who would fight for them, and community leaders who had pledged their support.

"One year ago, in this exact spot, someone told me I came from nothing," I said, my voice carrying clearly through the crisp autumn air. "He believed that power belonged to those who could inflict pain, and that silence was a sign of surrender."

I smiled, glancing back at my brothers.

"He was wrong. Silence is not surrender. Silence is the quiet before the storm. And true power does not come from terrorizing others—it comes from the family that stands behind you when the world tries to break you."

The applause that followed echoed across the valley, drowning out every memory of the past.
