Two years after the night at The Plaza, Saraphina stepped onto the stage of the United Nations Headquarters in Geneva as the key speaker for the Global Economic Sovereignty Forum.
Representing an empire that now spanned logistics, clean energy, and international venture capital, she spoke to an audience of world leaders, prime ministers, and central bankers. She wore a simple, flawless cream suit—the same color she had worn on the night she reclaimed her destiny.
"Power is not granted by titles, wealth, or loud declarations," Saraphina told the assembly, looking directly out at the sea of delegates. The auditorium erupted into a standing ovation that lasted for three full minutes.
Later that evening, as international headlines declared her speech a watershed moment for modern economics, Saraphina declined the lavish diplomats' gala in favor of a quiet dinner on the private balcony of her hotel suite overlooking Lake Geneva.
Thaddius entered the room quietly, placing a single leather folder on her desk.
